Homeland Safety & Security Agency (North) Urges Cross River Residents to Unite Against Cultism, Drug Abuse, and Cybercrime
The Home Land Safety & Security Agency (North), under the leadership of Mr. Raphael Odu, has reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and ensuring the security of communities across Cross River North. In a strong public message, the agency called on all citizens to stand together in the fight against social vices threatening the peace and progress of the region.
According to the agency, cultism remains one of the most destructive challenges affecting communities. It tears families apart, endangers lives, and destroys the future of young people. The agency emphasized that true brotherhood uplifts and protects — it does not harm. Citizens are therefore urged to reject cultism in all forms and work collectively toward a safer and more united Cross River North.
The agency also raised serious concerns about the growing threat of drug abuse, especially among youths. It warned that a single wrong choice — one pill or one substance — can lead to tragic consequences. To protect the next generation, the agency reiterated its commitment to championing a drug-free Cross River North and called on parents, community leaders, and institutions to intensify awareness and vigilance.
In addition, residents were cautioned about the increasing dangers of cybercrime. The agency urged young people not to allow themselves to be recruited into online fraud or digital crimes, stressing that their talents hold far greater value when used productively. Protecting the digital space, the agency noted, is essential to securing the future of the region.
The Home Land Safety & Security Agency (North) delivered a clear message:
Say no to cultism. Say no to drugs. Say no to cybercrime.
By working hand in hand, stakeholders and citizens can build a safer, stronger, and more resilient Cross River North.
