The rich cultural fabric of Ogoja Local Government Area came alive today at the annual Lejie Buturo Idum Mbube celebration. The well-attended event drew sons and daughters of the Idum community together in a vibrant display of unity, heritage, and tradition. Though unavoidably absent, the Executive Chairman of Ogoja LGA, Chief Hon. Christopher Agbeh , was ably represented by the Secretary of Council, Chief Alex Atem . In his goodwill message, the Chairman emphasized the importance of traditional gatherings in promoting peaceful coexistence, moral values, and grassroots development. He reiterated the council’s commitment to supporting cultural practices that strengthen the communal bond and identity of the Ogoja people.
