Hon. Sunny Achang Commend Ogoja LGA Chairman Hon Chris Agbeh for his swift intervention in the reconstruction

The Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Area has been commended for his swift intervention in the reconstruction of the collapsed bridge linking Mbube in Ogoja LGA with Utugwang in Obudu LGA.

The bridge, which collapsed in November, severely disrupted transportation, economic activities, and daily movement for residents. However, following an urgent appeal, the Chairman ensured that the reconstruction project was given top priority. Today, the people of Mbube East Ward 1 are celebrating the successful completion of the bridge, which has restored a vital connection between the two communities.

Hon. Sunny Achang, the Councillor representing Mbube East Ward 1 and Deputy Leader of the Ogoja Legislative Council, expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the people. He praised the Chairman’s dedication and commitment to the well-being of the community, emphasizing that this intervention reinforces trust in the administration’s responsiveness to critical infrastructure challenges.
