The Ogoja Legislative Council in a sitting held on the 26th of May, 2025 at Ogoja Legislative chambers unanimously endorsed His Excellency, Apostle Senator Prince Bassey Otu, and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey (Ph.D), for a second term in office.
The motion was moved by Hon. Sunny Achang, Councilor representing Mbube East Ward 1/Deputy Leader of the House, and seconded by Hon. Felix Ewan, Majority Leader and Councilor representing Ekajuk Ward 1.
Both lawmakers praised the Governor’s achievements in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and inclusive governance, affirming that a second term in 2027 would deepen ongoing development efforts.
