Miya came first in the “Early to School” competition, a feat that caught the attention of the Vice Chairman, who was present at the event. Impressed by her discipline, zeal, and all-round smartness, Hon. Emmanuel Idi Yakubu announced that all her school charges for the remaining years at St. Eugene’s Primary School have been cleared.

“This is not only to spur Miya to do more but also to encourage other pupils to take their education seriously,” the Vice Chairman stated. He further expressed his commitment to monitoring Miya’s academic progress and, God willing, extending the scholarship beyond her primary education.

He wished her continued success in her studies and charged other students to emulate Miya’s punctuality, brilliance, and discipline.
