OGOJA, Cross River State — The Vice Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Hon. Mrs. Mary Illah Otoro, on Monday warmly received members of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO), Holy Trinity Parish, Ogboja, during a courtesy visit to her office following her recent appointment. The visit, which was marked by prayers, thanksgiving, and words of encouragement, underscored the strong relationship between faith-based organizations and leadership in promoting community development within Ogoja Local Government Area. An interactive session was held in Ekajuk Ward 2, Ogoja Local Government Area, bringing together key political appointees and stakeholders. The event, which aimed to foster greater collaboration among political leaders, was hosted by Barr. Leonard Egede, the Legal Adviser to Ogoja LGA.
Co-hosts of the event included Mr. Mfam Francis, Director of the Cross River State Urban Renewal Agency; Mr. Gbaji Mathew Nkombe, Special Assistant to the Chairman of Ogoja LGA on Youth Mobilization; Mr. Joseph Momnang Joseph, Special Assistant to the Chairman of Ogoja LGA on Mobilization; and Mr. Moshe Mombum Emmanuel Special Assistant to the Chairman of Ogoja LGA on Youth Empowerment.

(EDI-JO) and 34 others, who made the decision to abandon the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and officially join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During the session, Barr. Leonard Egede assured the political appointees and members of Ekajuk Ward 2 that he would work closely with the leader of the ward, Hon. Gabriel Edi, former Speaker of CRS HoA, Hon Edi Gabriel Jnr., to move the party forward and to ensure the continued progress and development of the area.
