Bakor Nation Endorses Jarigbe, Otu, Tinubu Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Bakor Political Forum, in collaboration with the Bakor Nation, has formally endorsed the re-election bids of President Tinubu, Governor Otu and Senator Jarigbe Agom ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement event, which drew a large turnout of traditional rulers, political leaders, and stakeholders across Bakor communities, was marked by vibrant cultural displays and goodwill messages in honour of the trio. Participants also reviewed the trajectory of governance under the current administration at both state and federal levels.

Traditional Rulers, Stakeholders Back Decision

The Bakor Traditional Rulers Council, led by its Chairman, His Royal Majesty Ntol Julius Ayate, joined key political actors in expressing collective support. The gathering reflected a unified position across party lines within the Bakor Nation.

A communiqué presented by the Vice Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Area, Hon. Mary illah Otoro, outlined the resolutions reached at the meeting. The motion for adoption was moved by Rt. Hon. Gabriel Edi, seconded by Rt. Hon. Paddy Uguge, and unanimously approved by voice vote.
