MBUBE EAST WARD 1 COUNCILOR AND DEPUTY LEADER OF THE HOUSE MARKS 100 DAYS IN OFFICE WITH REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

The Councilor representing Mbube East Ward 1 and Deputy Leader of the Legislative House of Ogoja Local Government has marked a significant milestone, celebrating 100 days in office with notable legislative achievements aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Ogoja.

Within this short period, the Councilor has demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing key issues affecting the community by sponsoring and co-sponsoring motions that promote security, safety, health, and infrastructure development.

As part of his legislative efforts, he sponsored:

1. A Motion Calling on Ogoja Local Government to Stop the Operation of Cybercrime (Yahoo) in Ogoja – A decisive step towards curbing internet fraud and restoring moral values among the youth.


2. A Motion for the Provision of Fire Fighting Equipment in Ogoja – A crucial move to enhance emergency response and prevent fire-related disasters in the region.



In addition, he co-sponsored the following motions:

1. Urgent Intervention of Ogoja Local Government to Restore Power Supply in Some Parts of Abakpa – A motion aimed at ensuring that affected areas regain access to electricity for improved living conditions and economic activities.


2. Establishment of a Health Centre in Nkimkol Community – Advocating for accessible healthcare services to improve the well-being of residents.


3. Relocation of Phone Village and Other Businesses at Mission Road, Igoli Ogoja to Old Stadium – A motion aimed at reducing traffic congestion and enhancing urban planning for a more organized business environment.



The Councilor reaffirmed his dedication to ensuring the continued progress of Mbube East Ward 1 and Ogoja at large. He emphasized his commitment to advocating for policies that will bring sustainable development, enhance security, and improve the overall quality of life for the people.
