 His Excellency, Prince Bassey Otu, Governor of Cross River State, was honored with the prestigious MSME Most Friendly Governor of the Year award for the South-South Zone during the National MSME Conference '24. The award was presented by Dr. Tajudeen Abbas, Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives. The ceremony, held at the State Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, celebrated the contributions of various leaders in promoting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria. His Excellency, Prince Bassey Otu's recognition highlights Cross River State's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for the growth and development of MSMEs, which play a crucial role in the nation’s economy. The National MSME Conference '24 aimed to bring together key players in the sector to discuss challenges and opportunities, fostering partnerships that can drive sustainable growth.
